Bentwood Ring - Quilted Walnut Burl w/Yellow Jasper inlay, on polished titanium ring core - wood ring

This is a beautiful, handcrafted Artisan ring made in my small shop in Ottawa, Ontario, in Canada. Quilted Walnut Burl is a lovely, medium brown wood that offers striking contrast with gemstone inlays. This design is offered with a beautiful Yellow Jasper stone inlay. Each ring is sealed and finished to a high polish. This ring is offered on a polished titanium comfort fit core in widths of 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm - but please inquire about other custom ring core options. US full and half ring sizes from 5 - 13 are available. If you require a custom order at a different size, please send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate. These rings are made using the Bentwood technique. This method of wrapping several layers of stabilised wood veneer around the core results in a stronger, more beautiful ring than those simply cut from blocks.

IMPORTANT - RING SIZING:

Please be certain to have your ring size checked professionally by a jeweler (usually a complimentary service) to ensure that you will have an accurate fit. To avoid any issues with the sizing, it is strongly advised not to use unreliable methods such as an online printable ring sizer or measuring by wrapping a string around your finger. My rings are sized per the US standard ring sizing specifications and will be double-checked prior to shipping. If the wrong size is ordered by mistake, there will be fees to build a replacement ring. I will work with the customer to find a solution, but accurate sizing is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Exchange fees due to incorrect sizing will be a flat rate of 40%** of the regular (non-sale) price of the ring, plus separate shipping (typically $15 to Canada and the USA). Higher shipping costs will apply to international destinations. In addition, the original ring must be returned in "as new" condition. Please note as well that wider cores (e.g. 9mm-10 mm) will typically fit a little more snugly than narrower widths, such as 6mm. Please consider going up a half size for this wider option.

RING CARE:

The wood is well stabilised, but it is advised to avoid prolonged submersion in water, such as for bathing, swimming, or doing dishes. The ring will last many years if cared for properly. An occasional light buffing with wood or metal appropriate polish will keep your handmade ring looking great. Please avoid harsh abrasives.
