Bentwood Ring - Harborica w/offset silver inlay on titanium ring core

$102.67 $114.08

This is a beautiful, handcrafted Artisan ring made in my small shop in Stittsville, Ontario, in Canada. Harborica is a truly stunning exotic wood with a gorgeous colouration that most resembles weathered barn board with dark striping and an amazing patina. This version features a gorgeous offset silver inlay. Each ring is sealed and finished to a high polish. This ring is offered on titanium comfort fit cores in widths of 6mm, 8mm, or 10mm. US full and half ring sizes from 6 - 12 are available. If you require a custom order at a different size, please send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate. These rings are made using the Bentwood technique. This method of wrapping several layers of stabilised wood veneer around the core results in a stronger, more beautiful ring than those simply cut from blocks.

Shown in 10mm width comfort fit titanium core.

Please be certain to have your ring size checked professionally by a jeweler (usually a complimentary service) to ensure that you will have an accurate fit. To avoid any issues with the sizing, it is strongly advised not to use unreliable methods such as an online printable ring sizer or measuring by wrapping a string around your finger. My bentwood rings are sized per the US standard ring sizing specifications and will be double-checked prior to shipping. If the wrong size is ordered by mistake, there will be fees to build a replacement ring. I will work with the customer to find a solution, but accurate sizing is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Exchange fees due to incorrect sizing will be a flat rate of 40%** of the regular (non-sale) price of the ring, plus separate shipping (typically $15 to Canada and the USA). Higher shipping costs will apply to international destinations. In addition, the original ring must be returned in "as new" condition. Please note as well that wider cores (e.g. 9mm-10 mm) will typically fit a little more snugly than narrower widths, such as 6 mm. Please consider going up a half size for this wider option.

**Note that dual bentwood designs (bentwood wood outer and inner cores) will incur fees of 50% of the original price of the ring, plus the shipping charges stated above.

Please note that I now sell plastic ring sizers at cost that work quite well.

The wood is well stabilised, but it is advised to avoid prolonged submersion in water, such as for bathing, swimming, or doing dishes. The ring will last many years if cared for properly. An occasional light buffing with wood appropriate polish will keep your handmade ring looking great. Please avoid harsh abrasives.

This is the 4th ring I bought from Don, and I am still super impressed with the quality, craftsmanship and speed in which they are done. Don is also very accommodating when it comes to making a customized ring. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who wants a unique beautiful ring.

This is my second ring from Don. I was so happy with the first, a titanium and opal ring, that I decided to check out his bentwood rings as well. Don was simply amazing throughout--honestly the best seller experience I have had on Etsy, He contacted me so frequently that it was almost more like instant messaging than email. He helped me select a wood from his staggering selection (120, if I recall), was willing to modify an existing design if I needed, and when he (and I) were unhappy with the first attempt, he started all over from scratch with no prompting from me. Despite that, I received the ring quickly in a really lovely little box. It's gorgeous. I can't recommend him more.
